About the Author

Loni R. Burchett was born in Ashland, Kentucky. It was only when she moved to New Hampshire that she finally found a place she could love as much as the beautiful "Blue Grass State" she hails from.

Along with her husband and four of her five children, she now makes the Lakes Region of New Hampshire her home. Her hobbies are writing, art and traveling.

About the Illustrator

Patricia Sweet-MacDonald was born in Clearwater, Florida. She moved to New Hampshire in 2002, with her husband, Michael and two children, Alison and Brendan. She started painting at age 5 and has never quit.
